Dedicated to leveraging lived and living experience expertise towards systemic change, I champion trauma-responsive, care-centered approaches to drive relational and cultural transformation within workplaces and social services. Grounded in justice and care, my advocacy and leadership fosters inclusive systems that enable connection, empathy, and healing.Currently working in Victoria’s public mental health system at Alfred Mental and Addiction Health, I integrate lived and living experience perspectives into organisational strategy and planning to ensure consumer voices are included, heard, and acted upon at every level. As a survivor advocate with Left Write Hook, I participated in collaborative original research, co-produced a book, contributed to a documentary (MIFF 2024 Audience Award), and continue to champion relational, creative, and body-based approaches to healing and recovery for survivors of child sexual abuse and complex trauma. My academic research examined the emerging literature on the lived experiences of sexual violence survivors in workplace contexts, exploring intersections with workplace gender equality policies, and recovery as a critical aspect of justice.I advocate for intersectional, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed responses to social and relational harm, and for the importance of these crucial frameworks to addressing deep-rooted social injustice and systemic failures. Before joining the Lived and Living Experience workforce within the mental health sector, I enjoyed a vibrant career in arts and culture, where I deepened my belief in the arts and humanities as vital to building ethical and just communities.
