Reporting directly to the SVP, I lead a strategic initiative called GN BrainWorks, that is funded by the members of the BoD and top management. As the Head of BrainWorks, I was tasked with building a healthcare unit from the ground up, focusing currently on the intersection between hearing and brain health. I also have the honor of leading a team of highly talented individuals.On a day-to-day basis I am working on,-Developing and directing a strategic unit that oversees the development and integration of external technologies, the development of digital biomarkers, clinical trials, and conducting commercial pilots to identify new business models.-Driving strategic partnerships across tech startups, the healthcare industry, advocacy groups, academia, and healthcare professionals.-Overlooking thought leadership initiatives that create awareness around the importance of hearing health in preventive care and on the public health agenda.-Utilizing my expertise in the pharma, also spearheading new initiatives focused on value messaging, health outcomes, etc. These efforts are expanding our unit’s capabilities within medical affairs, market access, and public affairs, ensuring that we not only lead in innovation but also in the articulation of our value proposition to the healthcare sector-Leading and working hands on with a diverse team with expertise in medical sciences, partnerships, technology scouting, and commercial execution.

Led the collaboration with MIT Sandbox on behalf of LEO and contributed funds to the innovation fund. MIT Sandbox provides seed funding for student-initiated entrepreneurship ideas, mentoring from within MIT and from a broad network of committed partners, and tailored educational experiences.

This initiative catalyzed the formation of a company that raised over $20M in Series A funding.
