Phong Ly is a physician assistant student completing her Masters degree at Boston University and graduating August 2023. Prior to PA school, she had worked as a medical scribe for almost 2 years in the pain medicine clinic at Oregon Health & Science University.She has a great interest in reducing healthcare disparities by making healthcare more accessible to patients through her future work as a physician assistant. This was shaped by her experience working with local homeless and low income communities in Portland, OR during her undergraduate education as well as her experiences in healthcare as a medical scribe and as a PA student rotating through multiple hospitals in the Boston, MA area.
