Mah Sing Group Berhad is one of Malaysia's most aggressive lifestyle developer with projects in Greater KL, Penang, Johor and Sabah. I lead a team to manage Mah Sing Group’s strategic communications, sustainability and corporate responsibility activities and was active in investor relations. In my strategic communications role, I have successfully cultivated the corporate persona of our company spokesperson as a market leader, significantly increased the company's media coverage and enhanced the company's image via various awards obtained. This goes hand in hand with the corporate responsibility role which also includes management and branding of Mah Sing Foundation. Actively seek out corporate responsibility partnerships with regulatory bodies, private institutions and NGOS. The sustainability role requires implementation of green initiatives within company practices and reporting of sustainability programs. Improve internal process via digitization of sustainability data collection, compliant with sustainability reporting requirements and GRI standards. Production of the Sustainability report, together with the company’s Annual Report. Ensure we meet regulatory deadlines and requirements for key reporting to Bursa Malaysia, and act as spokesperson to handle crisis issues with the media.

Besides media relations, took on an investor relations role where I communicate the company’s salient selling points to the investment community including company’s growth opportunities, differentiating factors, key earnings drivers and highlights of financial performances. Also provide industry knowledge base to further facilitate investors’ understanding of the company. Develop investor and corporate presentations and updates for media and investors (local & foreign). Participated in both investor roadshows in Malaysia and overseas. Am currently not actively handling this role as there is a separate team due to increased IR activities within Mah Sing.

Set up new corporate communications department in Mah Sing, a property development company which had 5 projects in 2006. Initiated various media engagement to increase brand exposure of the company.

NSS is a Information Security company providing security products, high end consultancy services and training to over 300 corporate and 30 government clients.Achievements:• Established communications department and produced full sets of company collaterals, revamped website, and planned/executed media launches in Malaysia, India, Indonesia and Iran.Key responsibilities : Company branding, media relations, advertising, events, sponsorships and all corporate communications for NSS.

RAPR is a lifestyle branding public relations company. Besides its consumer division targeted mainly at luxury-goods companies, the company also has a strong financial PR division focusing on clients seeking investments or a listing on Bursa Malaysia.Key Responsibilities : Client servicing, plan and execute media strategy and events (lifestyle and corporate) and crisis communications management. Work with client and advertising agency to ensure cohesive, impactful communications.
