My first project was to help write a client application that would connect to our existing data system and display flight data in real time using visuals such as time histories, cross-plots, and waterfall charts. My responsibilities on this project included:- Implemented features requested by our customer and team lead- Helped new team members get up to speed on the project- Communicated directly with our customer regarding requirements, updates, and issues- Communicated my team's questions to the supplier of the API we used to render our charts- Diagnosed and fixed issues with the software- Wrote unit tests using xUnit- Wrote documentation and conducted training sessions for our engineersOver the course of this project, our team grew from three to six people. To help maintain code quality and manage tasks with this growth, I helped test the Phabricator instance our senior software developer created, and contributed to our process documentation.

- Writing FAA Certification reports for the Aviation Partners Boeing Split Scimitar Winglets for Next Generation 737's.- Operating instrumentation in-flight for the Stability and Control demonstrations.- Writing scripts in Visual Basic to automate several analysis tasks.
