Worked as a waitress/server. Learned about all the different varietals of wine, and how to properly serve it and make recommendations.

Designed a website, put together pitch decks, and created marketing assets for this early-stage venture fund investing in breakthrough hardware, software and biotech solutions for the worldwide Food System. Also had the opportunity to sit in on meetings with portfolio companies, as well as to shadow different members of the team to better understand the different roles within a venture fund. Created pitch decks and presentations for both internal and external purposes; lead a small team through multiple design projects; conducted user research and user testing for product development

Shadowed client service team, contributed to creative brainstorm sessions, worked on branding research, mapped out competing client companies’ unique selling points, and designed icons and client presentations for this top UK branding agency.

Entirely branded a new restaurant/craft beer bar; developed logo, menus, signage, and the various collateral material required. Worked on promotional advertising material, illustrated storyboards for an up and coming virtual reality project, and created menus and posters for other clients. Was their first intern to take on a paying client entirely, working with them closely as to realize their goals for their company vision.

Assisted in researching and designing SEI’s “The Academy,” a program that provides guidance and support to people with early-stage ideas to solve social problems; used knowledge with Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Premier to create promotional materials and videos; had the wonderful opportunity to interact with and work alongside many of the incredible social entrepreneurs that SEI supports.

Assisted in facilitating educational, health related workshops in the developing communities in Khayelitsha, South Africa; managed finances and budgeted for THAF’s projects; planned fundraising events and campaigns; provided new marketing content through photography and design; planned a semiannual GAPA (Grandmothers Against Poverty and Aids) field trip, where I organized a Red Bus tour around Cape Town for 130 children fro Khayelitsha
