Chemical Biologist; working to improve and expand the DUBTAC targeted stabilization platform.

NSF Graduate Research FellowI did my PhD work in the Dan Nomura Research group where I applied chemoproteomics platforms to design a novel small-molecule targeted protein stabilization platform, discover a small-molecule MYC inhibitor, and discover SARS-CoV-2 Mpro inhibitors.

Used a variety of biochemical assays to analyze samples for desired phenotypes.

I worked in Dr. Lisa Landino's group where I studied oxidative damage to proteins (such as LDH) and the role this damage plays in neurodegenerative diseases. I completed an honors thesis funded by a WM Honors Research Fellowship.

As part of a summer research experience for undergraduates, I worked in Dr. Paul Hergenrother's lab where I helped set-up, optimize, and analyze a high-throughput screen of a small-molecule library against PARG, to discover PARG inhibitors for anti-cancer applications. My summer research won the Alexander Scheeline Award for Excellence in Research.

I helped develop, test, and distribute a platform for reading, writing and sharing books in Haitian Creole to schools and teachers in Haiti. We won the 2nd Place Grand Prize, and 1st in our category, at the BigIdeas@Berkeley Innovation Competition 2015.
