I assisted in laboratory- based research investigating how the biotic components (inter- and intraspecific competition) interact with the abiotic environment to shape the distribution of tropical rainforest Drosophila and their likely responses to climate change. This work involved the morphological analyses of this species and allowed me to further my microscope skills and precision work.
