Lydia Davila is currently leading the Amgen Global Environmental , Health and Safety team.Lydia started her career in Amgen Puerto Rico at the Juncos Fill and Finish Facility in 1992. Lydia has held a variety of leadership roles within the company over the past twenty nine years.After 10 years leading Facilities, Utilities and Maintenance groups in the AML Formulation, Fill and Finish Facility, in 2002 she moved to the AML Expansion Project, commonly known by OPUS, responsible for the design, commissioning, start-up and operational readiness of the new Central Utilities Plant and Warehouse. Over the next 9 years, Lydia gained experience in various roles and participated in key projects as the Fill & Finish Facility Retrofit, Alternate Energy Projects and the Start-up, Commissioning and Qualification for the new Manufacturing Plants at the AML Site (Small Molecule Facility and the new Formulation and Filling Plant).From 2011 to 2015, Lydia moved to lead the Risk Management Organization for the AML Site responsible for the Operations Risk, Business Continuity and Crisis Management Program. In 2014, she was assigned as the interim Plant Manager at the Neupogen and Neulasta Manufacturing Plant during the Nplate tech transfer. In 2017 Lydia moved to Ireland to lead a multidisciplinary team supporting the DP manufacturing plants.Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Engineering School of the University of Puerto Rico.
