I remember being 16 and emailing the tour managers of some of my favorite bands to see if they would be willing to let me organize a show in my hometown. Never expecting to get a response, I jumped at the chance to organize and promote my first show as an independent event coordinator. Nobody believed I could pull it off, but I proved them wrong – I studied, and I networked, and I did not let anybody stop me. That tenacity is what drives me, the realization that anything that stands in my way is nothing more than an obstacle on my journey. Through event management, and my degree at The University of East Anglia, I discovered my passion for project management. Project management is my passion because it utilizes a unique set of cross-disciplinary skills. These skill-sets include networking on both social and professional levels to produce mutual benefits for all groups and individuals involved. Project management also requires an extensive desire to research whatever topics will further the team's end goal; this will allow me to develop my skillsets over a broad spectrum. Overall I have found my ability to work and communicate with people to be a genuine asset to my past and current projects. Leading a product or service to its true potential is my career goal and passion. In my spare time, I manage an online community with aims to combat loneliness consisting of members from over 30 countries. Learning about people and the differences in culture fascinates me and having visited 20 countries, I have to say the best part of my role as an Outreach Executive at Atlas SEO is being able to communicate with people on a global level every day.
