Qualifying and registering in 2005 as a pharmacist I have 13 years of experience in community pharmacy. Delivering professional services, managing teams and delivery of KPIs. I have held various roles including, Pharmacy Manager, Pharmacist, Professional Standards Pharmacist, Cluster Manager In 2019 I moved into the civil service, taking a role in the ESFA. Here I worked analysing data, presenting in various formats to senior leaders, and leading in areas such as governance, risk and people development. Working with internal and external stakeholders to assess financial and governance risk and provide support for intervention in academies.Transferring to the Regional Directors team in 2022 working to convert schools into academies, assessing safeguarding and other policies, updating articles of association and funding agreements. Training people in areas of work and developing my knowledge of the education sector.As Governance Professional in St Chad’s Academies Trust, I am passionate that all involved in the leadership and management of the education sector maintain the highest standards of quality and integrity. I am undertaking the CGI Chartered Governance Foundation Course to expand my knowledge in this area.I have a qualification in Agile Project Management and have worked as part of project delivery teams. I am continually developing myself and my practise to improve what I do for the beneficiaries of my organisation.
