Supported by a grant from LERC's Strategic Training and Action Research Fund (STAR), led programmatic development and research aimed at building greater inter-generational unity within the US labor movement.Developed and facilitated curriculum about inter-generational unity and inclusive unionism at the 2010 Pacific Northwest Labor History Conference, Summer Institute for Union Women, and Oregon AFL-CIO Summer School. Led lively conversation and critical thinking among unionists about the challenges of addressing inter-generational concerns- specifically, making the union a more welcoming place for youth, women, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, immigrants, and other historically marginalized groups.

Founding member of the effort to form a cooperative grocery store in the Portland neighborhood of Montavilla. Organized community-wide meetings with neighborhood stakeholders in order to rally initial support for the campaign.Led development of a steering committee and recruited over 300 community supporters from around the neighborhood. Oversaw development of fundraising efforts and successful incorporation in the State of Oregon.
