I have been putting my bachelors degree to work for the past three years! I am a teacher in the 3 year old classroom at Hope Preschool where we believe that children learn through play. Lesson plans, brainstorming sessions with fellow teachers, partnering with parents and continuing education credits are all a part of my teaching career.

As director of children’s shows, I am asked to plan and implement rehearsals that are developmentally appropriate, creative and educationally rewarding. Over the past three years I have had the honor of teaching workshops and directing musicals for children ages 6-18 in groups of 25-30. During these productions, we introduce both experienced and novice level actors to set design and construction, lighting operation and backstage crew. Our goal is to guide the children through the ins and outs of a production while they take full reign both on and off the stage. I currently serve as a board member and plan the upcoming seasons curriculum including, summer camps, workshops and productions.

Currently, I manage a team of 14 with titles that include; account managers, respiratory therapists, customer support and distribution. My daily responsibilities range from maintaining and developing business relationships, training and implementing sales strategies, corporate philosophies and successfully executing standards and goals set by superiors. With a background in education, I was able to create a training manual targeting the needs of our branch while assessing the skills of my sales staff. My training and implementation of this manual has proven to be a success with not only our branch, but with our region. Currently, my branch is ranked fifth out of the three hundred and thirty branches in our division due to the continued success that my team maintains quarterly.
