A highly adaptable, digitally native marketing consultant with broad expertise in the beauty and lifestyle industries, working with a number of leading brands at Estée Lauder Companies, L'Oreal and beauty start ups. My time spent building marketing strategies for PR driven brands and Advocacy Strategies for Marketing led brands enables me to craft truly integrated media and communications plans, taking the best of earned advocacy and media and amplifying it with efficient and effective paid promotion. As a consultant, I now partner with brands at various stages of their journey - from precious prioritisation in the early stages of a start up, to bold moves that reinvigorate legacy brands. Head Of Advocacy, Communications, Digital & Pr - GarnierL'Oréal Jan 2023 - Jul 2024ADVOCACY | SOCIAL COMMERCE | INFLUENCER | PARTNERSHIPS | COMMUNICATIONS Leading a multi-disciplinary team across Consumer + Creator Advocacy, PR, Communications, Owned + Earned Content Strategy for Garnier UKI. In this role I oversaw the Digital and Communications strategy over a time of rapid, ambitious change that saw a strong pivot in investment and resource from traditional media into brand Advocacy - building brand love and amplifying it across the evolving digital media landscape. As part of this I managed team hiring, restructures and upskilling and was part of the Brand Leadership Team and divisional Senior Leadership Forum. As Communications lead, I was custodian of the brand voice across the full earned and owned media landscape - from CSR, Sustainability and 5* product launches to Brand Ambassador management. During my time in role we drove Garnier to become the #1 brand in Share of Influence (Views + Engagements) in the UK Skincare market in H1 2024. Blending my commercial and advocacy experience I was part of the cross-functional team leading TikTok shop across the CPD division, ensuring the optimum blend of hype and operational soundness and achieving many sell-out stories and sustained success on the platform. -
Head Of Digital - L’Oreal Paris UkL'Oréal Feb 2019 - Dec 2022London, England, United KingdomBEAUTY TECH | AI | PAID SEARCH | SEO | DIGITAL MEDIA As Head of Digital I developed and drove the digital agenda for L'Oreal Paris across its 5 beauty categories and motherbrand campaigns. Alongside leading paid search and influencer strategy, this role had a strong innovation and beauty tech focus that saw me lead the integration of Virtual Shade and Skincare Tool into the brand site, media campaigns and stores of the future. As a non D2C business, defining the role of the brand website was key - I oversaw a total redesign and replatform with a laser focus on site USPs - best-in-class content, UX, SEO and beauty tech. Owning and driving an "Advocacy at Every Touchpoint" strategy, this role had many "firsts" including initiating an always-on paid social strategy, launching online skincare consultations and leveraging an AI and consumer crowdsourcing tool (Limitless) to elevate and humanise online consumer care, which was later adopted by the whole of UKI and is still used today. -
Head Of DigitalFacegym Jan 2018 - Feb 2019London, United KingdomFULL-FUNNEL STRATEGY | RAPID GROWTH | INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION | UGCAs the first Marketing hire of a fast-growing beauty service start-up I worked directly with the brand founder and her advisory board to translate the vision and ambitions into a full funnel marketing strategy from scratch - from creative direction and toolkit creation, to communications, ecommerce, consumer engagement, social and paid media strategy. I managed PR Agencies in UK and USA and led the internal Influencer/VIP/Celebrity engagement strategy, establishing and managing mutually beneficial brand partnerships. In under 12 months the brand's Instagram following had grown by 120% via organic community engagement and influencer outreach alone and increased web traffic by 200% (social channels +1220%, referral +200% and direct load +150%).During a period of rapid growth I worked closely on store launches across the UK and USA, managed all third party agencies and team resource, and defined holistic marketing budget and resource allocation. A challenging but exhilarating change from my corporate experience, this role taught me the enormous power of UGC, consumer and expert advocacy for a young brand and the unique potential of employee ambassadors. -
