Sr. Business Analyst
CurrentSupport of business processes by acting as a liaison between system users and technical staff to assure effective and efficient system support of these processes.Responsibilities:• Respond to calls, emails and personnel requests for support and specific issues• Identify research and resolve user problems related to use of core system• Document, track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution• Consult with users to identify current operating procedures• Write and maintain system documentation including but not limited to Help Manuals and Operating Procedures• Conduct user training on specific system functionality as needed• Maintain administrative tables in systems including initial definition, review and updates/changes as required• Communicate directly with vendor(s) to resolve user and technical issues, Support day to day function of internal and external process (i.e.-interfaces, backups, exports, imports, etc)• Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the insurance field’s concepts, practices and procedures• Provide consultation on projects as is expected to be a top level contributor/specialist• Participate in the creation and execution of the project plan• Write and executes effective test plans to ensure quality and stability• Verify the success of implementations and changes• May lead and direct the work of others• Rely on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish goalsDeveloped project plan for online quoting systems: Artisan Contractors, Mercantile Contractors and Miscellaneous E&O.
