working on the bar I work with a team but also independently, I deal with cashing off and banking, opening/closing the bar, stock control, a fast pace environment, I have to be hygiene and food safety aware and follow a vigorous cleaning rota and deal with the public. I also work in the restaurant, waiting tables, taking food and drink orders. also I work in events and functions, e.g. weddings, making sure things run according to plan, working with a team, serving food, drinks, keeping on top of cleaning and setting up the events also.

I was the only employee at my local pub, meaning I bartended, waited tables, occasionally helped the chef cook and cleaned. It was constantly fast paced and demanding at times, but I enjoyed the role and it challenged me.
