Internship as Translation and Editorial Assistant at Only Today Editorial Consultancy in Berlin as part of my Year Abroad. The role involved proofreading, translation, editing, research, website design, copywriting and interviewing.

Head Editor for Catharsis, a print magazine showcasing student writing and art.

Committee member for the Cambridge Undergraduate Conferences in German Studies in 2019, 2020 and 2022. Provision of input into the planning and organisation of the events, which showcase academic papers from undergraduate university students across the UK and Europe. The role involved working with a team of 5 other students to decide the theme of the event, select papers and liaise with student and professional speakers, as well as facilitating the successful running of the event on the day. In 2020 I was solely responsible for the recruitment of the committee.

Internship as Assistant Project Manager for translation and interpreting at Atenao Translation Agency in Aix-en-Provence as part of my Year Abroad. The role involved preparation of translation projects, creation of quotes and purchase orders, multilingual liaison with translators, interpreters and clients, updating of the internal database, proofreading, internal translations, creation of profit spreadsheets and sourcing translators and interpreters for upcoming projects.
