I have never worked in law or anything like that before, until now. I am going to have the great opportunity to see what it truly is like to be in an officers shoes and what they deal with. For my senior year in high school I will be in an intern with the Sheriffs department. I am incredibly excited for this. Most officers are confident and hold their head up high. I will be honest, I do not hold my head up high or anything like that but I know what I want to do with my life. A lot of people consider me shy and quiet but deep down I have voice and I want to speak it if I succeed my goal. I want to help people, whether that is being a police officer or not. That is what is what keeps me going and confident with my goal and wanting to not hide anymore or be naive. It would be truly amazing to be able to save lives or just be there for people, even the ones who have made mistakes, I want to help. Ever since I was about 5 years old, I have had the goal of becoming a police officer. The skills I would say that I have for this job is, confident, smart, strong, courageous, kind, active listening, adaptability, communicating, awareness, and critical thinking. Being able to succeed in my goal and helps would truly be a fulfilment in life.

Made waffle cones, because a lot of people enjoy them. I always tried to get as many done during my shift and try to finish them. I would take care of the customers by scooping them ice cream and making other delicious treats and almost got promoted to a cake decorator. I would also clean of course, because we had a chores list before we left.
