- Work in a team with physician and nurse to return patient inquiries and refill prescriptions- Communicate patient history, concerns to before physician assessment- Collect patient vital signs, EKG/ECG, medical histories, and review medications in clinic- Use EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Intergy) to document research and patient encounters - Follow up with patient records, medication and surgical clearance requests, and lab results - Anticipate the needs of patients, the physician and other team members- Remain compliant with HIPPA while discussing patient history, lab results and physician recommendations
