Throughout my time at university I have spent my holidays working in my local NHS trust as a administrative assistant in a busy Orthopaedic Department. My roles have included a ward clerk on a trauma admissions ward, a receptionist in fracture clinic and a clinic typist. In all three of my roles I have learnt how to handle pressure in stressful situations. I have also developed my communication skills with both patients, their families and members of the multidisciplinary team.

Football has always been a passion of mine and I have involved myself in a number of football related activities throughout my lifetime.Having been a member of the Women's Football Team at University of Leicester for three years, I was selected by my coach to run for captaincy alongside two other members. I was then required to make a speech in front of my peers before a vote following which I was elected for the position of 1st Team Captain. I believe this is due to my approachable, friendly nature along with my positive attitude and professionalism. I have always strived to set an example to other members of the team, committing to every training session and match, putting maximal effort into all I do. I was also selected by the University of Leicester Sports and Recreation Department to promote the 2018 Varsity Campaign alongside two other members of Team Leicester. I have worked hard for a number of awards including Player's Player of the Season and Top Goalscorer since I began playing football at the age of seven. Show less
