I worked in fast food for 3 years, where I gained some good experience, but I knew that isn't where I wanted to stay. I wanted a job in Healthcare where I could make a difference in peoples lives. I applied to be a laundry attendant in an assisted living facility, and from there worked to earn my certification as a nursing assistant. I loved the work, but I ended up moving too far to keep the job. I found another company I stayed with longer, but the drive was still too much so I looked for a job I could work from home. Now, I am currently working as a customer care representative for a call center, working from home. I like the work, but eventually want to move higher and work more in billing or email support, a position focused on typing skills and not on phone calls.
