As a legal assistant to Jason E. This, esq., I assisted in drafting legal documents like last wills and testaments, durable and financial power of attorneys, trusts, and deeds. I frequented the surrounding counties' courthouses in order to record and retrieve legal documents. I also communicated with our clients and other community attorneys to schedule court appearances, appointments, and other meetings.

In this position, I organized the weekly release of the Center for Law, Justice & Culture's newsletter. I also wrote and spearheaded dozens of articles which were released on the College of Arts and Science's Forum page. In addition, I helped to organize the Center's numerous events throughout the year, like Pre-Law Day, the Law Fair, and Constitution Day.

As a Learning Community Leader, I served as many first-year students' first connection to campus. During the first-year students’ first fall semester, I co-taught a one-credit hour course to help familiarize them with Ohio University's campus, as well as preparing them for their future in their studies in Law, Justice & Culture.
