For many years I have been guided by my career vision to “make an impact with my presence and make sure that impact lasts in my absence”. This has led me to jobs in a variety of workplaces, but with the shared intention to make others better through my actions. I am passionate about improving others, to be effective at this I have spent time developing my knowledge, attitude and behaviours through reading and undertaking courses for self-improvement. In addition, I have learned from others around me and am always keen to collaborate with others, I work best when I have colleagues that will challenge and support me. One of my main strengths is that I am a strategic thinker, who always considers alternative courses of action, I like to consider all information before choosing the correct course of action. Another strength is ideation, I love to find connections between themes which can lead to more efficient working practices, for example using research to build upon working practices that are already established in the workplace. Throughout my career I have always taken responsibility, I am always keen to see projects through to the end and deliver the very best solution with the resources available. In terms of a workplace, I work best for organisations that emphasise the need for personal development and encourage collaboration. Other characteristics I am looking for in a workplace are challenge and clear expectations, I believe in honest and direct communication. I want to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be and would appreciate an employer that is willing to support me on that journey.
