Sonos is a developer and manufacturer of high quality audio products that range from home audio, portables, and wearables. Sonos is known for it's high attention to detail with the consumer sound experience and the ability to build multi-room audio into the home and business. In my role, I interface with Audio and Mechanical Engineers to bring the transducers found in Sonos products to life. This process utilizes Siemens NX and COMSOL in order to make sure the transducers sound the way we want them and they fit seamlessly into our products. Additionally, I use rapid prototyping tools for hands on feasibility testing and Klippel test equipment to ensure simulation to reality crossover.

OnLogic helps make industrial, fanless computers a reality. This involved designing everything from the computer chassis all the way to finding optimized thermal solutions. By utilizing Solidworks, IntelTAT, SimScale, JIRA, and Odoo, it was possible to oversee the design process & manage ECOs over the product lifetime. Projects included: HX500, HX600, HX610, OnLogic Sustainability Green Team. Additional responsibilities included thermal testing, build up validation, and RCAs on the manufacturing line.

Machine operation of mills, lathes, drill presses, press brakes, power tools. Provided design and machining feedback to students and faculty alike to ensure safe and accurate machine operation. Additionally worked as a machinist for various labs and senior design projects.

Primarily working with graduate, doctoral, and post-doctorate students in a research lab dedicated to manufacturing nano quartz probes and carbon nanotube arrays. Daily tasks involved designing and 3D printing solutions to problems found within the manufacturing and testing processes.

Assisted on projects on the Multidisciplinary Engineering, Design, Analysis, Lab-wide Support [MEDALS] contract which assists the NASA JPL facility directly. Included designing testing apparatuses for Mars 2020 Rover, design consultation on OCO-3, data migration, red-lines and drafting for ITAR level drawings.

Work during school breaks when needed. Assistance of shipping, receiving, and repairs for small family-owned company delving with arcade game repairs on an international scale.

Worked on arcade machines ranging in age and complexity during the summer at Cedar Point. Performed maintenance on electrical systems, physical repairs, situational awareness and assessment, and customer interactions.
