Vice President, Innovation SystemsEureka! Ranch Sep 2010 - PresentCincinnati, Ohio, UsEureka! Ranch was founded more than 35 years ago by Doug Hall with a simple purpose: To develop the world’s most reliable methods for increasing innovation speed and decreasing risk. Today Eureka! is led by CEO Maggie Nichols and a strong cadre of innovators, engineers, educators, and programmers who remain true to the original mission. We do this by helping companies learn and implement the best practices of Innovation Engineering - the scientific system that transforms innovation from a random gamble to a reliable system for profitable growth. The system uses the scientific methods of Dr. W. Edwards Deming to enable workers of all levels in the organization to think and act smarter, faster, and more innovatively to Create, Communicate, and Commercialize meaningfully unique ideas. The result is increased speed (up to 6X) and decreased risk (30 to 80%) with new products, services, customers, markets, processes, and business models. The Innovation Engineering mindset generates quantitative results:1. Companies using the Innovation Engineering system have more than $19 Billion worth of innovations in active development. 2. Innovation Engineering companies are realizing a 250% improvement in the success of ideas that they put into development, saving them significant time, energy, and money.3. Innovation Engineering Black Belt training dramatically increases confidence and capability.
