CurrentServed as Country Manager in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo during the Hutu-Tutsi Conflict. Coordinated the United Methodist Church Response to the Hutu Tutsi Conflict and the Civil War in Liberia, including all resources needed to establish and maintain school sites, housing and clinics which included program development, payroll, security, financial reporting, transportation and program implementation. Sites were located in three cities along the eastern corridor. While serving in Monrovia, Liberia developed educational and housing projects for refugees of their civil war. Served as a Staff Attorney for one of the largest pro bono law firms in the USA serving children and the poor. For the past eight years, develops and coordinates educational projects for foster and at-risk youth in Los Angeles and Compton.
