I am a personable and highly skilled Advocate of the High Court of Kenya (LLB) with over eleven years experience both in public & NGO sector where I have gained a wealth of experience in legal advisory, research, litigation, arbitration & mediation with focus on Civil, Commercial, Corporate Law. I am particularly passionate about Constitutional & Human Rights Law and I am dedicated to promoting social justice and safeguarding rights through the justice system, policy and legislative reforms. I have demonstrable experience in public policy analysis, legislative drafting, stakeholder engagement, training and advocacy. In addition to my law degree, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Political Science (Double Major with a Minor in Psychology) with keen interest in Public & Foreign Policy, International Relations and International Organisations. I am passionate about mental health and I am currently training as a Counselling Psychologist with the aim of assisting vulnerable individuals. I am an active member of Rotary Club and I am passionate about impactful and sustainable community projects. I am a proud recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow award for outstanding contribution to the community.Achievements:~ Successfully represented government ministries and state entities in various high value matters at the High Court and Appellate Courts where government liability was mitigated. ~ Represented the state in complex public interest matters and contributed to the country's Constitutional & Human Rights jurisprudence. ~Advised on a wide range of complex legal issues. ~Appointed as Legal Researcher to the Commission of Inquiry into the Petition to Suspend Makueni County Government.
