Project highlights include:Askify: A full stack question answer engine featuring a JWT authentication system that uses bcrypt to salt and hash passwords. The Askify server follows REST API design principles and adheres to code best practicies including SOC, encapsulation, and DRY. The most challenging part of this project was being flexible to work within the API’s constraints and handling a wide variety of potential HTTP error responses. Since this app only leverages jQuery, the most challenging part was the overall code organization and being strict about writing small, descriptive functions. Built with PostgreSQL, Node, React, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. Uses Fetch to make HTTP requests to REST APIs to enable users to create and delete notes. Built with React, React Router, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.Trelloyes: A Trello-inspired list-making app where lists are organized in columns of associated tasks. Created with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Tested with Enzyme.Book Search: An app to help users find books using the Google Books API, with optional search filters for book and print type. Built with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
