Accepted into the Baltimore Collegetown Fellowship, in combination with a social entrepreneurship class at Johns Hopkins. Led a team of five to design, develop and initiate a socially innovative public health program in Baltimore, the pilot of which begins in Spring 2020 (pre-COVID 19).

Sole office assistant in the Center for Africana Studies. Under Professor Katrina McDonald, Ph.D, (Feb 2018) helped plan and orchestrate the 2-day BOUND/UNBOUND Black Marriage Symposium co-sponsored by Iowa State University, which featured over 20 participants from across Africana and Sociology departments across the country.

Accepted into the Iniversal Development of Rastafari community-based learning Fellowship. Led a team of four to research, create and present an oral history for a local chapter of an international Rastafari organization. Specific experience in conducting, and training others to conduct, ethically appropriate and culturally competent research in putatively “hard to reach” communities.

Senior bartender at the notorious Blind Beggar pub in London’s East End. Duties included opening and closing responsibilities (key-holding), serving and mixing drinks, running food, engaging with new and regular patrons, banking operations, cleaning the facilities, stock and restock processes, and managing and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment throughout the bar.

Summer intern for four summers for a SoHo based public relations firm specializing in providing publicity for creative and production enterprises nationally. My duties included scanning and summarizing press coverage, drafting pitch ideas for client submission, supporting key team members in providing key information and newsworthy editorial coverage of key clients.
