Oversaw real estate development function, comprised of highly effective professionals located in 3 offices throughout the U.S. In addition to role as member of the U.S. Management Committee, transactional responsibilities include sourcing and underwriting new development investments, structuring partnership terms, ensuring project quality, asset performance and successful completion of all commercial and multi family developments. Portfolio comprised of a variety of asset types throughout the U.S., including both self developed and third party partner efforts.

Launched and grew the Northern California office, with responsibility for sourcing, entitling, and execution of development market rate, mixed use, and affordable projects throughout the region, resulting in a $2 billion pipeline built during tenure. Represented the company with respect to regional policy and partner relations in Northern California and was the company’s lead on several mixed use, mixed income and affordable developments in the region.

Responsible for real estate development and project finance activities for affordable, mixed income and mixed use developments in Northern and Southern California. Organizational expansion during tenure resulted in 2 new regional offices and more than $2 billion in assets added to company portfolio. Accomplished primarily through public-private partnerships, utilizing a variety of specialized financing vehicles including tax increment, tax exempt bonds, commercial debt and pension funds equity.
