SERVE, ASSIST, and HELP these three action words are great ways to describe what I try to give to every individual daily. My passion for serving started in my younger years as a country girl growing up in Oklahoma. Upon graduating from high school, I became enlisted as a United States Army soldier; the training I received enhanced those skills tremendously. I spent 9 years in the military as a Cargo Specialist and deployed to Iraq twice.When I separated from the military with an honorable discharge, I experienced struggles, just as many of us veterans do. This motivated me to learn more about them and understand how to help others who were going through the same experiences. This is one of the main reasons for my Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Troy University. During my years as a student, I also volunteered with numerous organizations that included the Red Cross, The Mission Continues, The Fort Benning Retiree Council, Georgia Food Oasis, and that's to name a few.
