Overview of Metro Phase II Parkade and Phase I Expansion:The Metro Phase II Parkade and Phase I Expansion is a multi-staged construction project. The first phase involved the construction of a new concrete parkade, designed to rest one level above and below ground, that adjoins the existing building to it. The second phase, during which I spent my 4-month co-op term, involves the demolition of a pre-existing building to join the currently utilized Metro Distribution Center with an additional chilling and auto-racking system. Overview of Key Responsibilities:• Tracked project workforce hours, and assisted in regular schedule updates to ensure substantial completion of the project occurred without delays• Responsible for the creation and distribution of meeting minutes for weekly client meetings where RFI's, change orders, and submittals workflow were tracked to ensure subcontractor work completion • Personally organized deficiency trackers and related documentation in preparation for project closeout• Soley responsible for the dispatch of the concrete pour notices to subcontractors and compiling of related concrete testing results, concrete pour design changes, and additional related content• Responsible for the reviewal and receiving of project-related purchase orders and the organization of monthly owner billings
