Lydia leads the Product, Technology and Data practice and brings deep functional expertise in technology and product leadership roles. Lydia’s focus is end-to-end search execution; business development, account development, preparing and leading pitches, fee negotiation, through to search delivery; research, candidate conversion, candidate management, long-list to shortlist processes, analysis/report writing, referencing (soft and formal), offer negotiation and onboarding. She leads searches across the growth curve of VC-backed, PE-backed and post-IPO technology clients with a particular passion for working with Founders and Investors of Seed, Series A – C start-ups.The Up Group is a market-leading, European, tech-focused search, advisory and networking firm. Building a Founder-led recruitment business from start-up to c. 10 people. Largely focused on hiring technology/digital leaders and implementing team-builds for disruptive, global, tech businesses. Responsible for driving revenue in the UK and operationalising the business.

Lydia managed the CIO/CTO practice at Norman Broadbent winning and delivering a variety of technology leadership mandates for FTSE listed, AIM listed and PE backed businesses across sector. Across the business, Lydia delivered all transformation roles (CIO/CDO/CTO/CPO/Chief Innovation Officer/Chief Data Officer/CISO) leveraging a dedicated research team.

Lydia began her search career as a Researcher, responsible for end-to-end execution of Board level mandates for companies across the Technology, Media, Telecoms and Professional Services space. Lydia was fast-tracked to a Consultant within the firm with accountability for a range of global technology, telecoms and professional services clients.
