In my capacity as GitHub Digital Public Goods Manager, I am providing technical Open source Community building contributions to the OKY project by The UNICEF Office of Innovation.My contributions include developing contribution guidelines and a working CI/CD pipeline for Pull Requests (PRs), implementing a Triaging and Peer Review Mechanism for PRs that align with UNICEF OKY team code standards, and Issue Labelling to help new contributors pick issues that align with their skills. I am also expanding test coverage for the codebase at large.OKY is a phenomenal project centred on a mobile app that educates girls all over the world about Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management. It uses a fun gamified approach to provide girls with this Information.

As an Information Management Officer, I oversee the efficient collection, processing, and analysis of data to support our organisation’s strategic goals. My role involves developing and maintaining robust data management systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security. I conduct thorough data analysis to generate actionable insights for decision-making and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address Humanitarian Information Management needs. With proficiency in database management software and data analysis tools, I prepare detailed reports and data visualisations to effectively present findings. My strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy drive my contributions to the organisation’s success.In this capacity, I serve as the focal person for Data Privacy, Management, and Analysis for The World Bank Funded, Ministry of Gender Child, and Social Welfare and UN Women steered- Social Workforce Assessment and Capacity Building ComponentI also serve in an advisory capacity for a plethora of projects with our other INGO partners; UNICEF, UNHCR, WFP, and FCDO (UK)
