In the role of Group / IT Manager responsible for teams and delivery of Mobile apps and capabilities within Air France-KLM Digital. Main responsibility of the team is development of the KLM core app, a native app build on both iOS and Android. Every day, more than a 100,000 people -mainly frequent flyers- tune into the KLM app. The app is developed to make the whole process of buying a ticket, travel preparation and flying as smooth as possible. The app helps users to organize everything themselves on the fly. Other effort is related to the KLM Houses app and development of innovative capabilities like push messages, location based services, augmented reality and biometric identification.

Calco is an IT-company specialised in projects, Masterclass and posting. Calco's MasterClass® is a two-year IT-professional traineeship in which 'high potentials' are being prepared for a position in IT. Through training, assignments and projects, the trainees gain experience in project based working. During the first two months the trainee explores different branches within the IT-sector at Calco’s main office. The other twenty-two months the trainee is working as a junior IT-professional at a Dutch top-200 company. The result of this two-year programm is an IT-professional with a solid basis for a successful career in IT.

Groningen

'Jong Vocaal Groningen' (JVG) is the continuation of the former 'IVAK Jeugd Vocaal Ensemble'. The JVG consists of approximately 15 singers aged 20 to 35 years old. The broad repertoire consists of music of all ages, from the Renaissance to contemporary musical of film music.We have an international orientation and are regularly performing in Germany, Czech Republic and Italy. I accompany the repetitions as well as (individual) performances, and participate as a singer.

I was responsible for the recruitment and selection of students/young professionals for internships and job opportunities with several clients. Also, I gave training sessions and represent SENT at (career) events.

The Prison Project is a research project on a national scale, with the purpose of investigating the effects of imprisonment on detainees and their families.The research participants vary from being imprisoned to having been released from detention over the past few years. I visit them either in prison or at home, to assess their current state of employment, living situation, and overall well-being.

The Faculty Council monitors the Faculty Board and provides it with advice, both on request and on its own initiative. The council consists of both students and staff members. My function was chairman of an international student party.

The Year Representation (Jaarvertegenwoordiging) represent the interests of the students and tries to improve and audit the quality of education. In communicating with other participatory organs of the faculty, I fulfilled the role of secretary.

Delfzijl

In this function, I accompanied both the whole Jeugd Vocaal Ensemble (Youth Vocal Group) and individual singers of this group. We did numerous performances and competitions in The Netherlands and Germany, and a tour to Italy in 2009.
