Recreation has always been an outlet for me. Growing up in Northern Maine, I quickly discovered the healing peace that nature brings into my life. Then, as I got involved in sports, I noticed how my confidence, mental health, and daily habits where improving. I have witnessed first-hand the numerous benefits of recreation and I have a desire to make those more readily available to ALL populations. In an increasingly more virtual and schedule driven world, we all need a healthy outlet for wholesome recreational activity or what I like to call FUN. Learning how to facilitate organized fun, making it more accessible, and creating treatment plans in a variety of settings has been an amazing adventure. An adventure that I am still exploring as a student at BYU-I.
