I shouldn’t be writing this. Doctors predicted I’d never walk and probably never talk. How wrong they were!Born with Cerebral Palsy, it’s undeniable that my movements and speech are affected. But I’ve spent my life overcoming any obstacle that gets in my way. Sometimes that’s by sheer grit and determination. Other times it’s through finding an alternative approach.My motto? “Nothing is impossible, it just hasn’t been done yet.”Now I use my determination, solution-focussed mindset, insights and lived experience to help others. My goal? Helping you maximise your impact in this weird and wonderful world. We all have an unlimited amount of potential, with so many ways to achieve it! I empower people and organisations to make a real difference- for themselves and for the people they care about. I believe that if you can, you should. I litmus test everything I do by questioning if it will help me leave the world better than I found it. At LykeDigital, we build software and support organisations to be more profitable. Not to increase the money in the bank, but because the bottom line dictates their ability to make a positive impact. I deliver inspirational talks and keynote presentations. Not because I like the sound of my own voice (I can’t stand it, actually) but because I’ve lived a life people can learn from. From charities to companies, from volunteering to event planning, from software development to living independently when I was told not to, from local family to global community- I have so many stories to tell. And I’m only just getting started.
