My curiosity for the world led me to Archaeology and Liberal Arts, with a specific focus on Scientific Archaeology and Zooarchaeology. Archaeology is an interdisciplinary discipline, involves collaboration with individuals from various backgrounds to provide an objective and unbiased reconstruction of the past. In this field, success is only attainable when participants embrace the philosophy of 'Teamwork makes the Dream work.'As I progressed, I felt a strong desire to grow personally and professionally and to leverage my background in a new direction. My background in archaeology equipped me with structured thinking, strong problem-solving capabilities, data-driven decision-making skills, fairness in avoiding biases, in-depth knowledge of statistics, and proficient presentation skills. Additionally, I was utilizing tools like Excel and Access, which provided me with a solid foundation in data handling and interpretation. With this solid foundation, I decided to transition my career to Data Analytics, where I could utilize my diverse skill set to analyze data, derive valuable insights, and make informed decisions that positively impact businesses.Striving for excellence and determined to achieve my goals, I decided to take online courses on Data Analytics to develop proficiency in essential hard skills such as SQL, R programming, Tableau, and Power BI. I have successfully completed several courses, including the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate on Coursera, SQL courses from DataCamp, and Python courses from the Analyst Builder Platform. Following these, I participated in private training sessions with Alexandra Athanasakou, a seasoned Business Intelligence Developer, and subsequently began interning as a Subject Matter Expert on Power BI for Data Tutor GR, an online data analytics platform founded by my trainer.Recognizing the importance of integrating data insights with strategic business decisions, I enrolled in Chris Haroun's MBA program. This experience enhanced my capacity to interpret complex business questions and drive informed decision-making.As of my hobbies I love photography. I attended seminars on both analogue and digital photography and greatly admire Jan Saudek, a photographer who skillfully merges the old and the new in his photos. Furthermore, I enjoy playing sports, with volleyball and table tennis being my favorites. My motto in life is 'Mens sana in corpore sano' - a healthy mind in a healthy body."e-mail: lykoudi.maria11@gmail.com GitHub: https://github.com/marialyk77/Capstone_Cyclistic_BikeShare.git
