Responsible for the overall management and leadership in the delivery of comprehensive, high quality Diagnostic Imaging Services at Providence Alaska Medical Center, St Elias Specialty hospital and Providence Family Medicine Group. Accountable for patient care activities, coordinating patient care delivery daily in collaboration with other members of the health care team. Accountable for developing, implementing and monitoring department-based quality improvement programs and department-based goals for the delivery of quality patient care. Uses clinical and financial reports to improve care and processes of services, pertinent to the service and for all levels of staff. Responsible for budget development, implementation, monitoring, forecasting, planning, in addition to directing program growth and service expansion. Develops staffing plans, schedules and performs workflow analysis to optimize resources. Collaborates with physicians and educational services staff to identify, plan and implement educational programs.

Responsible for imaging based, patient focused care management. Provides necessary oversight and support to five clinical supervisors, two clerical supervisors and 56 caregivers in all. Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures to ensure stable and effective services. Develops and maintains quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure that services are provided in accordance with established standards.

Work closely with the PIC Manager to deliver quality patient care and promote an ethical work environment. Identify healthcare best practices, plan and implement strategic marketing initiatives, and adhere to departmental policies and procedures. Maintain fiscal accountability, allocate resources as needed, and facilitate business growth. Support quality improvement projects and help meet overall organizational goals and objectives.

Developed and implemented protocols and procedures under the supervision of the Chief MRI Radiologist.
