Data collection- As a member of Quality Control I performed (using appropriate procedures) analytical tests on raw materials, in process reaction samples, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and recovered solvents. The instrumentation tech I have used the most include; High performance liquid chromatography, Gas chromatography, Infrared spectroscopy, refractive index, specific gravity, Karl fisher, loss on drying, UV/vis, X-ray diffraction, optical rotation, and titrations. I am familiar with many other laboratory instruments and could be operating most within a week. I have used Galaxy and Empower chromatography programs for collecting data. Data entry- The data collected on either a chromatography program or other system is recorded on an Analytical Data Record. This record is a carbon copy and used to record everything that the program does not; solvents, instruments, and preparation steps taken. The data collected was entered into one of 3 data collection programs. Validation/Compliance- I am an experienced analyst for all the technology listed above and had the added responsibility of second checking the data other produced. All data collection and data entry is checked to ensure the correct procedure was followed, all details covered and all the data was entered correctly. I updated procedures, managed laboratory record storage system, and ordered supplies and reference standards. I have qualified many new pieces of equipment.
