I'm a graduate of the University of Glasgow who studied MA (Hons) German/Italian language and cultural studies and I'm now continuing on to do a PGT MSc in Media, Culture and Society. Interested in all things minority cultures: from feminist theory to queer culture to contemporary minority language revitalisation (Scottish Gaelic); regarding the latter two, I have written a dissertation on both.Public consumption of academic knowledge is in my view the bread and butter of societal progression, so I aim to allow my works to be as accessible as possible. As part of this ambition, I wrote an article published in the student-led academic journal 'Politik : Perspektiv' at the University of Leeds which discusses various topics surrounding German culture.Outside of formal education, I love to support the expressive arts by attending events hosted by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO), the National Youth Choir of Scotland (NYCoS) and the Goethe Institut. As an alumnus of NYCoS, I understand the importance of spreading the word around for such events and the joy it gives to wider society.
