Lyle is an experienced, Boston-based policy professional focused on asset management regulation and generating political and regulatory analysis. He supports business adoption and compliance with new issuances from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), National Futures Association (NFA), and other key regulators. He has worked on prominent SEC regulations including T+1 settlement, the Names Rule, ESG Disclosures for Investment Advisers, Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors, Cybersecurity Risk Management, Liquidity Risk Management Programs and Swing-Pricing, Money Market Fund Reforms, Market Structure Modernization, and amendments to disclosures for private funds and proxy voting. He is particularly passionate about ESG issues and issues impacting open- and closed-end funds. Lyle started his career on Capitol Hill, working for the Vermont delegation and held various positions for former Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman and Pro Tempore Patrick Leahy (D-VT). He covered the financial services portfolio for Senator Leahy, before working for Invariant, a top government relations firm in Washington D.C. There, he researched and analyzed financial services policy in Congress and action by regulators including the SEC and the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC). Lyle graduated from the University of Vermont.
