Traveled weekly to six plants to facilitate communication further.

• Managed engineering operations for Korat, Thailand plant, that included process, test, tooling maintenance and industrial engineering for head-gimbal assemblies and head stacks for disc drives. Successful on time qualification of all 11 products.• Staffed and managed a new plant for managers, over 70 engineers, and over 100 technicians in process, test, tooling, and industrial engineering.• Used Six Sigma to implement changes in process and test to improve yields 10%. • Implemented Lean initiatives to reduce non-value-added activities time per unit by 10%.
