About Lyle Mcmillan

I am a global citizen who has lived and worked across the globe. I am insanely curious about geopolitics, business, analytics and agriculture. I love experimenting and adapting in the name of innovation. My peers would say I love a good challenge and when duty calls, I will go to the end of the earth to solve a business problem of any proportion. While the status quo works for some, I tend to think there is always room for innovation. My superpower is my ability to observe people, notice patterns, connect dots, and present the abstract in a friendly, walk-up easy way. I have found that while problems may be complex, the right solution must be one that everyone can understand and stand behind. Leaders and colleagues alike have told me that my most significant strengths are my global perspective, personal discipline, ability to influence others and unending curiosity. For those who don’t know me, I may appear as a walking paradox of interests. Close friends call me a “renaissance” man who wears cowboy boots and collects vinyl records. I ran four half marathons last year and will aim for five this year. I make a mean sourdough and keep a starter alive in my pantry. I read Russian novels to keep my language skills alive, and I take my kids to art museums and hiking trips despite their complaining.
