Deputy Administrator supports and creates economic development in Wasilla, a thriving crossroads with a booming economy. The rapidly growing city is the heart of a diverse and dynamic financial region. Wasilla is the commercial and retail center for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough in South-central Alaska. *Assist the Mayor and Council with the development of the comprehensive business development plans and programs for the city of Wasilla.*Provide legislative analysis,draft legislation and create and nurture connectivity at a local, state and federal level on issues impacting the city.*Measure, analyze and develope a supportive economic strategies that remain vitail and sustainable while supporting the cities comprehensive plan as well as the continued growth of the community.*Special projects as directed by Mayor *COVID mitigation and recovery as well as issues related to residents along with day to day operations of running and maintaining the public safety of all who enjoy the City of Wasilla.
