I have worked in education for over 35 years as a teacher, deputy and head teacher in special schools in Surrey, Hounslow and Gloucestershire. I retired as CEO of SAND Academies Trust in Gloucestershire at the end of 2022 and am now an advisor/consultant on academy strategy and leadership. I am also a School Improvement Partner.I remain passionate about special education and supporting the whole family.I am Chair of the Management Committee at The Altus School and Chair of Governors at The Peak school.I am a Governor at several education establishments and a Member of the Trust Board of a large MAT.
