As a Registered Nurse in the only pediatric hematology/oncology clinic in Southern Nevada, I was responsible for assessing patients’ current state of health. I accessed central venous catheters, initiated peripheral IVs, and infused a wide variety of chemotherapeutic agents and adjunct medications.
