Responsible for providing cultural and strategic insight to Heart Foundation Aboriginal Health Initiatives and to other Cardiovascular health initiatives and programs ( locally and nationally) regarding engagement with and depiction of Aboriginal people and groups in those programs, cultural and social determinants of Aboriginal health and the importance of equity in health planning and delivery. It includes supporting the development of local and state based project partnerships to drive sustainable change in prevention, primary care and acute settings to improve heart health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

- To implement programs and assist with polices that will positively influence the cardiovascular health status of Aboriginal people- Drive the prioritisation and integration of HF activities relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health across a range of programs and theme areas- Develop programs, policy proposals and submissions for government - Manage and supervise Aboriginal health staff - Provide leadership and cultural understanding in Aboriginal health- Build capacity through partnerships to reduce disparity of care in cardiovascular health for Aboriginal people
