Currently running in South Tyneside Don't Dis My Ability is:A youth led programme where the young people use their own experiences to inform employers, volunteer placements and leisure providers about changes that need to be made to improve accessibility for people with additional needs.Recognising young people as the experts in identifying what is needed to make opportunities accessible to them. A group of young people will put together a project to increase their social inclusion.Experienced staff will support the young people throughout enabling them to develop and carry out their project.
