The last 10 years have certainly been interesting. While working as the HR/Training Manager at Combined Communicatons Network I was asked if I was interested in getting my MBA. I realised I did want to go back to school but not to get my MBA. Instead, I completed the training to become a chef. Within a year of completing the course I was made redundant and opened my own catering business, Your Little Secret.That lead me to opening Swing, at Lane Cove Golf Club. However the restaurant was not a full time job so when my past knocked on the door to do some consulting work at Wentworth Park Sporting Complex I decided to put a toe back in the corporate world. This became very handy when Covid-19 hit and the restaurant closed.From working one day a week as a HR Consultant to Administration Manager to Operations Manager and finally General Manager. I love the variety of this role and I love my office. I'm looking forward to the next few years to see where we go from here.
